The journey to 10 Step Hydronics
20 years of testing. 10 years of teaching. One breakthrough.
For 20 years, Kimbo Betty has been challenging accepted wisdom and testing theory on real systems.
For the last 10 years he's brough everything back into the classroom, building a training course that blended the theory with practice.
Today, many of the UK's leading heating engineers trace their hydronics journey back to Kimbo's classroom.
“You don’t realise how much you don’t know until someone shows you a better way.” — Kimbo Betty
The breakthrough
As more engineers came through the training, one thing became clear.
The course was only the start.
Engineers needed a simple way to apply what they'd learned, job after job.
10 Step Hydronics
Working with a leading learning specialist, Kimbo packed two decades of testing and a decade of teaching into 10 Step Hydronics, a practical framework for planning, optimising or troubleshooting any heating system.
Broken down into the order of a real job, 10 Step Hydronics gives engineers a clear process to follow on every installation, whether new, retrofit or fault finding.
Today, every Warmur Academy programme is built around 10 Step Hydronics, helping engineers get it right first time.
The Warmur Method
Built around the 10 Steps.
Our 10 Step Hydronics framework follows the same order you'd tackle a real job and shows how each design decision affects system performance.
