Please read them before purchasing or booking a course.
Our Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice and any additional course information provided before purchase also apply. Where these Course Terms conflict with our general Website Terms, these Course Terms take priority in relation to training purchases.
Courses are provided by Warmur Academy Ltd, trading as Warmur Academy ("we", "us" or "our").

For the purposes of these terms:
Customer means the individual, company or organisation purchasing a course and responsible for payment.
Learner means the individual enrolled to undertake online training, attend a classroom session or complete an assessment.
Booking means a confirmed purchase or reservation for a course.
Course Fees means the price payable for the course or package purchased.
Business Customer means a Customer purchasing wholly or mainly for purposes relating to their trade, business or profession.
Consumer means an individual purchasing principally for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
A Customer may also be the Learner.
Where an employer or organisation purchases training for an individual, the Customer is responsible for payment and for ensuring that the Learner is informed of the relevant course requirements.
Course prices are displayed at the time of purchase, together with any applicable VAT.
Payment is required in full to confirm a Booking unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
Bookings may be made through our website, Cademy or another booking process authorised by Warmur Academy.
A Booking is confirmed when we accept the order and issue a booking or purchase confirmation.
Discounts, promotional offers, vouchers and partner pricing are subject to any conditions communicated with the offer.
Any additional charges must be disclosed and agreed before they are incurred.
We may suspend access or withhold a booking where payment has not been received in accordance with the agreed terms.
Hydronics Unlocked is a self-paced online course covering the principles of heating system design, installation and optimisation.
The course includes digital learning materials, animations, interactive tools, exercises and a final assessment.
Purchase includes six months' access to the online course, starting when paid access is activated.
Successful completion of the required assessment may lead to the Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems qualification, subject to eligibility, registration and assessment requirements.
Hydronics Foundations is a one-day, in-person training course delivered on a scheduled date at a specified venue.
The Booking includes attendance at the relevant training session and the learning activities and materials described in the course information.
Any certificate of attendance or achievement will be issued in accordance with the requirements stated for that course.
Total Hydronics combines Hydronics Unlocked with one place on Hydronics Foundations.
The online and classroom components have different access, scheduling and cancellation arrangements, as described in these terms.
Purchase of Total Hydronics does not automatically reserve a specific classroom date.
Following enrolment in Hydronics Unlocked or Total Hydronics, Learners will be provided with instructions for accessing the online course.
Paid course access lasts for six months from activation, as confirmed in the enrolment information.
Learners may study at their own pace during that period.
It is the Learner's responsibility to allow sufficient time to complete the course and assessment before access expires.
At the end of the access period, access to the paid learning materials will end unless an extension has been agreed.
Extensions are not included automatically and may be subject to an additional charge agreed in advance.
Course access does not renew automatically.
An online course account is intended for the individual Learner and must not be shared or transferred without our written agreement.
Hydronics Foundations places are subject to availability and confirmation by Warmur Academy.
Customers booking the standalone classroom course through Cademy will receive confirmation of their selected date.
For Total Hydronics purchases made through our website, Warmur Academy will contact the Customer to arrange the included classroom place.
Once a date has been agreed, we will book the Learner through Cademy or our authorised booking system and send confirmation and joining instructions.
A classroom place is not reserved until Warmur Academy has confirmed the date.
Customers purchasing Total Hydronics must arrange their included classroom booking within 12 months of purchase, unless a different period is agreed in writing.
We will offer available dates and reasonable assistance with arranging the Booking.
If we are unable to offer an available classroom date within that period, the Customer may choose to agree an extended booking period or receive a refund for the undelivered classroom component.
Declining available dates or failing to arrange attendance does not, by itself, entitle a Business Customer to a change-of-mind refund.
The online course access period is separate from the classroom booking and is not automatically extended if the classroom session takes place later.
Classroom joining instructions, including the date, venue and relevant attendance requirements, will be sent before the session.
Learners are responsible for reviewing these instructions and advising us promptly of any relevant accessibility or support requirements.
This section applies where the course is purchased wholly or mainly for business or professional purposes, including by a self-employed individual purchasing training for their trade.
Business purchases are non-refundable for a change of mind once the Booking has been confirmed.
This applies to Hydronics Unlocked, Hydronics Foundations and Total Hydronics.
Refunds are not available simply because a Learner has not logged in, has not started or completed online learning, can no longer attend a classroom session, or no longer requires the training.
The option to move a classroom booking is set out in Section 9.
This policy does not affect any remedy available where Warmur Academy fails to provide the purchased training in accordance with the Contract or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
We understand that work commitments can change, particularly for self-employed engineers.
For Hydronics Foundations and the classroom component of Total Hydronics, we offer the following transfer arrangements.
A Customer may request one transfer to another available classroom date without an additional administration charge, provided we receive written notice at least 14 calendar days before the confirmed session.
The replacement date is subject to availability and must normally take place within six months of the original booking.
Only one free transfer is included per classroom Booking.
Requests received less than 14 calendar days before the classroom session are not automatically eligible for a transfer.
We may consider exceptional circumstances, including illness or emergencies, on a case-by-case basis.
Any alternative Booking is subject to our agreement and available places.
If a Learner does not attend the confirmed classroom session without an agreed transfer, the place will be forfeited.
A replacement classroom place must be purchased unless Warmur Academy agrees otherwise.
Transfer requests must be made in writing to bookings@warmuracademy.co.uk.
A transfer is only confirmed once Warmur Academy has agreed the replacement date in writing.
These arrangements do not restrict statutory cancellation rights available to Consumers under Section 10.
This section applies where a Customer is purchasing principally outside their trade, business or profession and qualifies as a Consumer under applicable law.
Where the relevant statutory rights apply to a distance purchase, Consumers normally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason.
These rights apply independently of our business cancellation policy.
If a Consumer wishes to begin receiving digital course content during the statutory cancellation period, we will seek their express consent to early supply and acknowledgement that the relevant right to cancel that digital content will be lost when supply begins.
Where all applicable legal requirements have been met, the statutory cancellation right for that digital content will end once supply begins.
If the required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation has not been obtained, the Consumer's statutory cancellation rights will continue to apply.
For classroom training purchased at a distance, Consumers may have statutory cancellation rights during the relevant 14-day period, even where a classroom date has already been selected.
If a Consumer expressly requests that training services begin during the cancellation period and subsequently cancels, they may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied, where permitted by law and following the required information and agreement.
Where a service has been fully performed with the Consumer's required prior agreement and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end in accordance with applicable law.
Total Hydronics includes both online course content and classroom training.
These components may be subject to different statutory cancellation requirements.
Starting the online course does not, by itself, remove any separate statutory cancellation rights relating to the classroom component.
Where a Consumer exercises a statutory cancellation right in relation to a combined purchase, any refund or payment due will be calculated in accordance with applicable law, taking account of the components supplied and the allocation of the package price.
Where the statutory cancellation period has expired, or the relevant cancellation right has lawfully ended, refunds for a change of mind are not normally available.
Any contractual cancellation charges or retention of prepayments remain subject to applicable consumer protection law.
Consumers may exercise a statutory cancellation right by sending a clear statement to bookings@warmuracademy.co.uk.
No particular form or reason is required.
Where a statutory refund is due, we will reimburse it without undue delay and within the applicable legal timescale, normally using the original payment method.
Nothing in these terms limits a Consumer's statutory rights.
We may occasionally need to change a classroom date, venue or trainer because of circumstances such as illness, venue problems, insufficient delegate numbers or events outside our reasonable control.
We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Where we cancel a classroom session, Customers will be offered an alternative available date at no additional charge.
If an appropriate alternative cannot be agreed, Customers may receive a refund for the affected classroom training.
For standalone Hydronics Foundations purchases, this will be the relevant Course Fee.
For Total Hydronics, any refund of the undelivered classroom component will be calculated using a fair allocation of the package price, taking account of the discount applied to the bundle. The allocation method will be disclosed at purchase.
We may update online course content to reflect developments in technical standards, regulations or teaching methods.
We will not materially reduce the training or qualification opportunity purchased without offering an appropriate remedy.
If we are unable to provide a substantial part of a purchased course, we will offer an appropriate replacement, extension or refund, consistent with our contractual and legal obligations.
Learners are expected to:
We may take proportionate action in cases of serious misconduct, including removal from a classroom session or restriction of online access where justified.
Any such action will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the breach.
Warmur Academy is not obliged to provide additional teaching to compensate for late arrival, missed sessions or incomplete work caused by the Learner.
Hydronics Unlocked includes a final online assessment.
Learners seeking the Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems qualification must complete the required qualification registration or opt-in process, satisfy the applicable eligibility and verification requirements, and pass the required assessment.
Successful completion of the learning materials alone does not guarantee a qualification.
Where reassessment is available, we will explain the applicable arrangements. Any additional fees will be disclosed and agreed before they are incurred.
Any certificate or qualification associated with Hydronics Foundations will be as described in the relevant course information.
Warmur Academy may share relevant enrolment, identity and assessment information with organisations responsible for qualification administration, as explained in our Privacy Notice.
Warmur Academy courses are designed to develop technical knowledge and understanding.
Training and qualifications do not, by themselves, confer Gas Safe registration, MCS certification or any other permission to undertake regulated work.
Learners remain responsible for applying appropriate professional judgement and complying with relevant legislation, standards and manufacturer requirements.
We do not guarantee particular commercial outcomes, examination results or installation performance.
Eligible practising heating engineers may qualify for Warmur Pro recognition subject to its separate eligibility criteria and Terms & Conditions.
Course materials, including videos, animations, interactive tools, illustrations, exercises, assessments and written resources, belong to Warmur Academy or are used under licence.
Learners receive a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the materials for their own learning during the relevant access period or course.
Materials must not be copied, recorded, redistributed, sold, published or shared without our written permission.
Learners may apply the knowledge acquired through training in their professional work.
Online Learners are responsible for having a suitable device, supported browser and reliable internet connection.
Some interactive activities may work best on a desktop or larger screen.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to the online learning platform and resolve technical problems within our control.
If a significant technical failure prevents access to purchased training, please contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
Warmur Academy will provide training with reasonable care and skill and will meet its applicable contractual and statutory obligations.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Warmur Academy is not responsible for professional work performed by Learners or their subsequent business decisions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for personal property brought to classroom venues except where loss or damage results from our negligence or another liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For Business Customers, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential business losses arising from the training, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Consumers retain all applicable statutory rights.
We process personal data to administer bookings, provide training, manage assessments and qualifications, and fulfil applicable legal obligations.
We may use third-party providers, including Cademy, for classroom bookings and administration.

These terms are governed by Scots law.
Consumers retain any mandatory rights and legal protections applicable to them, including rights concerning where proceedings may be brought.
For Business Customers, the courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
Consumers may use this form where they have a statutory right to cancel, but are not required to do so.
